Bill Gough PicIn his 27+ year Allstate Hall of Fame Agency career his agency consistently ranked in the top 1-5% of all Insurance Agency across the country. His agency won 117 insurance sales awards and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.

Since starting BGI in 2008, he has helped thousands of agents take their agencies to the next level using proven systems and processes. Nearly 3000 agents and team members have attended his conferences and continues to come back year after year to continually “sharpen the saw” with Bill as he is constantly seeking out and learning new and improved ideas to share with the attendees.

On January 1, 2007, tragedy struck Bill’s life in an unimaginable way. He lost his son, Bill Gough III, in a drowning accident while on a family vacation. In the aftermath of this event, Bill decided to create a legacy for his son so his name would live on forever, founding the William M. Gough III Charitable Fund in his memory.

Bill had always enjoyed helping other Agency Owners, and he wanted to do something to give back. This is why he founded BGI Systems in 2008… to help other agency owners achieve and exceed the same success that he experienced over his career.

Jerry purchased his first agency in 2004. In 8 years he grew the agency from 2100 items to more than 9000! All organic growth, writing one policy at a time. He repeated his success in 2013 when he purchased another agency and grew it in a similar fashion in only 4 years.

As a Sales Leader he was assigned the Huntsville market. It was one of the worst in the country (ranked around 640 out of 650). Jerry turned things around and achieved several awards including Sales Manager of the year for Alabama for 5 years in a row, top of the region twice, and top of the country once.

Jerry is a direct mail expert and understands the challenges of agency owners. After his presentation at the BGI Systems 2018 “Get on Track” Super Conference where he shared examples of the internal and external marketing he used to grow his agencies, he was surrounded by agents with questions. 75 minutes later when we returned from lunch, agents were still crowded around him. Wendy Murphy
Bill’s Sales Superstar

Wendy started with Bill in 1998 as Vanessa’s (Bill’s wife) replacement. Under Bill’s guidance and leadership, she rose to be one of the top sales producers in the state, if not the country.

In December of 2004, Wendy pioneered a satellite office for Bill and at the same time moved the entire sales department into that location.

Wendy’s duties included managing all the day to day at that location plus overseeing 7 sales staff while still averaging 90 items per month. Wendy is a machine when it comes to this game and was the “doer” in Bill’s agency for many years.

She became Agency Principle of The All American Agency on February 1, 2012.
